Seeing a torpedo in his territory is something Chakratch cannot stand. However, he may have trouble with this one. By the time they can climb out of water and reach the Biggle Forest, torpedoes are ready to play fast and loose. They form when a colony must organize into a complex macro system and protect against enemies such as the buoy bomb. A torpedo shape leverages hydrodynamics to evade and attack in a way floating communities cannot: the algae cells push and pull on each other like muscles. Chakratch ducks. The algae corkscrews by and flattens out. BoOom! The force of the tail slap claps the air around him. He staggers, stunned. It is a fierce enemy, but won't last. The effort has an enormous cost, and must be fueled by large meals. If Chakratch can avoid a direct hit, the torpedo will exhaust itself and slink back to the Bol Bay for sunlight. Big if.
